Patrick O'Brien - Manager
Patrick commenced his career in accounting after completing a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) in 1999.
He joined a mid-sized Chartered Accounting firm in the Business Services/ Taxation division. There he gained experience across a range of businesses in the preparation of their financial statements, income tax returns and related compliance work. This environment exposed Patrick to many of the issues facing small to medium enterprises in the areas of taxation and compliance. He also has experience as a technician providing compliance testing and reporting services within the construction and manufacturing industries.
In 2005, Patrick transferred from his role in the Business Services and Taxation areas of accounting to focus on Insolvency.
Patrick joined Taylor Woodings in June 2007 and has been involved in a range of receiverships, liquidations and other related appointments.
Patrick is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
