Simon Skelton - Associate Director
Simon trained and worked as a lawyer before changing careers to become an accountant specialising in insolvency and reconstruction. Simon has worked in the area since 1994 and is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia. He holds qualifications from Manchester University (1988), Sydney University (1993) and the Securities Institute of Australia (2003).
Simon joined Taylor Woodings in March 2008.
On assignments, Simon draws on both his accounting and legal skills and has gained a reputation for finding practical and cost effective solutions to problems. Simon has a broad depth of experience across many industries but is specifically known for his expertise in professional services, managed investment schemes and tourism.
His work at Taylor Woodings extends across a number of disciplines including formal insolvencies and restructuring, expert reports (forensic, corporate and solvency), pre-lending advice and general advisory work.
